The Reap My Ride Guarantee
Seven promises we make to you as a seller. Every buyer in the network agrees to them before they can bid on your car, and the Reaper Score is how we hold them to it.
Reap My Ride does not buy your car. Screened local buyers do, and they compete for it. That means these are not promises we make about our own behaviour — they are the conditions a buyer accepts to be in the network at all. Break one and it costs them, which is what makes a promise worth reading.
You Get Paid What You Were Quoted
The oldest trick in this industry is the driveway renegotiation: you accept an offer, clear your afternoon, and the driver arrives with a lower number. Buyers in this network do not do that. If a vehicle genuinely turns out to be different from the description — a missing engine that was never mentioned — the buyer has to show you, with a photograph, at the time. Anything else is not a reason.
Free Towing. Nothing Deducted.
Towing, pickup and paperwork are the buyer's expense. Nothing comes out of the price you agreed, and you are never asked for a card, a deposit or a fee. If a fee comes up at any point, that alone is reason to stop and call us.
Buyers Compete for Your Car
You describe your vehicle once and screened buyers near you send offers back, usually within five to fifteen minutes. Nobody has to talk you into a number, because you can see what someone else would pay. That is the whole reason a marketplace beats a single buyer, and it is why we do not claim to have the highest price — we let you check.
No Pressure. Take Your Time.
An offer you have to decide on immediately is a tactic, not a price. Offers here typically stay good for seven days so you can compare, think, or wait until the weekend. Nobody will call you repeatedly.
Your Liability Actually Ends
A car that stays in your name after it leaves your driveway is a real problem — tickets, tolls, and abandoned-vehicle notices all follow the registered owner. The buyer completes your state's release with you at pickup, not later, and we track whether they did.
Every Buyer Is Checked, Then Scored
Before a buyer can bid we verify their licence with the issuing agency, read their public review history across platforms, and speak to them directly. After that, every completed sale is scored on whether they paid what they offered, arrived when they said, handled the paperwork, and were straightforward to deal with. A falling score means fewer vehicles.
We Make It Right
Scoring a buyer afterwards does nothing for the seller it happened to. So when a pickup goes wrong we get involved at the time. If a buyer drops the offer without a documented reason, or does not turn up, call us and we will get another buyer to your car or make sure you are paid appropriately.
Every promise above has a consequence attached to it. See exactly how buyers are checked, scored and removed in The Reaper Score.
If a Buyer Falls Short, Tell Us
No fine print, no exclusions. If any of these seven promises is not met, here is what happens — and the best time to call is while the driver is still in your driveway:
Reach Us Anytime
"Every seller deserves honesty, respect, and fair value. Every promise we make about a buyer, we enforce. A network is only worth being in if the standard is real."
Our team spent ten years watching sellers get lowballed in their own driveways. Reap My Ride was built so that a buyer who does that answers for it. That is the entire idea.
